Rejuvenation
Rejuvenation or photorejuvenation is a technique using intense pulsed light, also known as IPL, similar to laser, to reach a target, melanin or hemoglobin.
This light energy is transformed into heat, the intensity of which rapidly increases at the target, thus causing its destruction. In addition, the heat generated stimulates fibroblasts, thus promoting the production of collagen and elastin. This leads to photo rejuvenation or photorejuvenation of the skin.
It gives a younger appearance to the skin of the face, neck, décolleté or hands.
There are three main effects obtained: the reduction of brown solar spots, that of red spots and small vessels, and finally the improvement of the texture of the skin (thicker, more toned, smoother and younger).
The uniformity of the complexion and the radiance of the skin are also improved because the pulsed light helps the skin to eliminate the small deposits of brown pigments which accumulate with age and which make the complexion dull.
During the session, the eyes are previously protected by eye shields, while a gel is delicately applied to the area to be treated. The treatment begins by emitting light flashes in series of pulses, while moving the handpiece over the face, area by area.
Several sessions are necessary for the complexion to become homogeneous, luminous, and to be free of all spots and unsightly vascular disorders. The tone and suppleness of the skin are improved, pores are tightened.
The sessions will allow the gradual stimulation of natural collagen, leaving the epidermis intact and allowing the resumption of usual activities after the session, without additional precautions.
The session lasts approximately 30 minutes, and generally, 3 to 6 sessions are necessary, spaced about two weeks apart, as part of a complete rejuvenation treatment.
The application of IP50 sun protection during the 15 days following the treatment is mandatory.
This treatment truly revives the radiance of the face.
OPT FOR THE PERMANENT FREEDOM OF HAIR REMOVAL THANKS TO PULSED LIGHT TECHNOLOGY !
Find smooth, soft skin and say goodbye to worries of unsightly hairs, irritations linked to wax or complications caused by razor blades.
Effective and safe, permanent hair removal with pulsed light provides results from the first session. The Alex Institute team is trained and certified in this technique. It uses high quality tools, made in France with a medical CE and allows the specificity of each skin to be respected.
A personalized assessment is carried out before any intervention to define the needs and objectives of our clients. The sessions are spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart in order to take into account several factors evaluated by the institute professional such as the area to be treated and the type of skin and hair.
The success of pulsed light treatment depends on the precise timing linked to the hair growth cycle, targeting hair follicles during their active phase, called anagen.
By respecting the recommended deadlines, we encourage the return of hairs to the active phase if they were in the resting phase, thus increasing the effectiveness of the treatment. It is crucial to follow your IPL hair removal technician's recommendations, as she can adjust the frequency based on your individual needs. Our team will evaluate the results of previous sessions to adapt the treatment accordingly.
Between two permanent hair removal sessions, it is recommended to opt for shaving in order to eliminate visible hairs. Make sure to maintain regular hydration of the skin, avoid irritating or aggressive products on the treated areas, and wear loose clothing to avoid excessive friction. Limit intense physical activities immediately after the session, and use soothing creams or Aloe Vera gel to calm any redness or irritation.
Principles to follow for optimal use of pulsed light:
- Do not expose yourself to the sun 15 days before and after the session and during the treatment, apply sun protection every day
- Shave 24 to 48 hours before the session and in the direction of the hair
- On the day of the session, do not apply any cosmetics to the area to be treated
- Complete and sign the consent form before the session, indicating to the practitioner any change in health or medical treatment.

Hair dermopigmentation
Hair dermopigmentation, known under the terms trichopigmentation or micro-pigmentation, represents a scalp micro-tattooing technique intended for anyone facing problems with hair loss, baldness, androgenetic alopecia, alopecia areata. , or even showing scalp scars from skull surgeries, chemotherapy treatments, accidents or even burns.
Dermopigmentation is not a surgical procedure, but rather a superficial procedure that requires several sessions to achieve optimal results. It is aimed at both men and women, regardless of the length of their hair. When the patient has long hair, the specialist draws micro-lines to densify the bald areas. In case of close-cropped hair, micro-dots are tattooed to create a shaved head effect.
In practice, it consists of inserting pigments into the superficial layer of the hair dermis in order to reproduce the appearance of hair. This painless, long-lasting and side-effect-free method faithfully reproduces the appearance of hair, thus providing a natural hair density effect.
During the first consultation, the dermographer performs a thorough examination of the scalp. The objective is to identify the areas to be tattooed, define the methodology to use and choose the color of the pigments. Using a sterile, single-use microneedle, he micro-tattoos the areas identified during the preliminary examination, thus ensuring the secure insertion of the pigments into the capillary dermis.
To obtain a natural result, it is recommended to carry out up to three sessions, spaced six weeks apart. These adjustments aim to correct or perfect the work already done.
Annual maintenance is also recommended to maintain optimal results over the years.

Is your smile a source of complexes? Do you find your teeth yellow?
Our food is a source of color for our enamel.
Tooth coloring is influenced by various factors such as heredity, medication during dental training, and lifestyle including consumption of coffee, tea, tobacco, wine, etc.
Despite your impeccable dental hygiene, your teeth are getting darker.
However, a simple solution exists to regain a dazzling smile: tooth whitening is an aesthetic technique which aims to lighten the color of the teeth and which allows you to regain self-confidence.
Before starting a tooth whitening treatment, it is essential to carry out a thorough oral check-up by your dentist in order to detect any potential contraindications, such as cavities or periodontal problems.
During tooth whitening, a whitening gel is activated by photopolymerization using a dedicated LED lamp.
This process removes pigments accumulated in teeth over time, without causing damage to tooth structure when done correctly and at appropriate intervals.
The main risk is dental and gum sensitization for 24 to 48 hours.
The duration of treatment varies depending on the severity and origin of the stains, such as tobacco, coffee, tea, etc.
On average, a tooth whitening treatment requires 2 sessions of 20 to 40 minutes for a boost of radiance.
While tooth whitening is proven to effectively remove tooth discoloration, the durability of the whitening is not guaranteed. Regular maintenance is essential to maintain the results obtained.
CHAIRBLEACHING
The treatment is carried out entirely at the institute, requiring one to three sessions maximum. The beauty technician creates a gum barrier before delicately applying the whitening gel to the teeth, leaving it to act for a period of 20 to 40 minutes. A high energy lamp will stimulate the lightening process.
ADVICE AFTER SESSION
It is recommended not to eat for 3 hours following the session and to only drink water. For 5 days following treatment, it is recommended to refrain from consuming dyes, chewing gum and tobacco. Preferably use a straw for drinks and make sure to brush your teeth 2 to 3 times a day with white toothpaste. Not to mention, descaling every year.
